Responsibilities of a Procurement Officer

Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and supervise the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service.

Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff, including waitstaff, kitchen personnel, and cleaners, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.

Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders when necessary and ensuring stock is used efficiently.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and food safety protocols.

Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and controlling expenses, including labor costs and food waste, to meet the restaurant’s financial targets.

Scheduling & Shift Management: Create staff schedules and manage shift allocations to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.

Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on food quality, presentation, and cleanliness of the restaurant to maintain high standards.

Promotions & Marketing: Assist in implementing marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events to attract customers and boost sales.

Reporting & Administration: Maintain records, prepare reports on daily sales, inventory levels, and staff performance, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
