Responsibilities
Design and Planning: Develop and review electrical systems, plans, and layouts for new and existing projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Installation Supervision: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, providing technical support to resolve faults in systems and equipment.
System Upgrades: Plan and execute upgrades to electrical systems to enhance performance, efficiency, and safety.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations and operations meet safety regulations, local laws, and industry best practices.
Project Management: Lead or assist in managing electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with other engineering teams.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections and quality assurance tests on electrical installations, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, installation manuals, and maintenance reports, for future reference and regulatory compliance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical engineers, project managers, construction teams) to ensure integration and coordination of electrical systems within larger projects.
Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure satisfaction with electrical engineering deliverables.
