Responsibilities
- Manage and Safeguard Animals during Treatment and Surgical Procedures: Ensure the safe handling, restraint, and well-being of animals undergoing medical treatment and surgical interventions.
- Assist Veterinarians Throughout Surgical Procedures: Provide support to veterinarians before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Prepare and Administer Medications and Vaccinations: Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian, following precise protocols to maintain the health of animals.
- Administer Prescribed Treatments: Administer treatments prescribed by the veterinarian, ensuring animals receive the appropriate care to facilitate their recovery.
- Client Education: Offer guidance and counsel to clients on matters related to animal health care, explaining treatment plans and preventive measures.
- Manage Veterinary Office Operations: Oversee various aspects of veterinary office management, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Perform Routine Dental Procedures: Execute routine dental procedures for animals and assist veterinarians during dental surgeries, promoting good oral health for the animals.
- Provide Nursing Care and Rehabilitation: Offer compassionate nursing care and rehabilitation therapy to aid in the recovery of animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the healing process.
