JOBS IN SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Arabia Announced 41,000 Jobs

In November, a total of 41,028 Saudi citizens got jobs in private companies for the first time, according to the National Labor Observatory (NLO). The NLO’s monthly report revealed that there was an overall increase of 13,084 jobs for citizens during that month.

The report also noted a rise in the total number of people working in private companies, reaching 10,879,375 workers in November. This suggests a steady growth in creating new jobs in this sector. In November, the total number of Saudi citizens working in the private sector reached 2,311,318, including 1,368,670 men and 942,648 women. In comparison, the total number of foreign workers in the private sector was 8,568,057, including 8,239,563 men and 328,494 women.

The monthly report covered various aspects, such as the total number of workers in the private sector, the number of male and female citizens and foreign workers in this sector, the net growth in jobs for citizens in November, and the number of new employees in private companies.

It’s important to mention that the NLO, which operates under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, releases reports and publications analyzing data and statistics regularly. One such publication is the “Overview of the Labor Market in the Private Sector,” published monthly to highlight key statistics and figures from the previous month. The observatory was established by royal decree in 2010 to serve as the primary and trustworthy source of labor market information.
