  • Addressing customers’ complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organizing travel arrangements, creating itineraries, and making reservations as needed.
  • Driving either as part of a two-person team or within a convoy for efficient transport operations.
  • Operating lighter, special purpose trucks when required for specific cargo types.
  • Handling the loading and unloading of goods with care and efficiency.
  • Acquiring necessary special permits and documents for transporting cargo internationally.
  • Driving straight or articulated trucks to transport various goods and materials safely.
  • Taking responsibility for vehicle condition, conducting inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Managing payment transactions for goods received and disbursed.
  • Conducting brake adjustments as part of regular vehicle maintenance.
  • Performing emergency roadside repairs when necessary to ensure the continuity of transportation.
  • Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle integrity and safety.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicating with central dispatch, relaying information effectively during transport.
  • Recording cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption for documentation purposes.
