Fair Haven Homes Society is a non-profit organization which was established 75 years ago. The prime objective was to offer low-cost homes to senior citizens. At this moment Fair Haven Homes Society is offering inexpensive housing to more than 500 seniors in Burnaby and Vancouver. Fair Haven is renowned as a pioneer in long-term care and services for senior citizens.
Fair Haven Homes is going to hiring for casual shuttle bus drivers and they will delight in working with seniors. The selected drivers will drive vehicles and their carrying capacity is in between 11 to 25 passengers. Driver must care the safety and security of the passengers in bus. Moreover, he maintains logbooks and other record.
Minimum qualifications include
Shuttle bus driver must fulfill the following conditions of the Fair Haven Homes.
He must have a minimum Grade 10 certification and two years relevant experience. Or an equivalent of qualification, training and experience.
He must hold valid Class IV BC driving license
Moreover, driver should be equipped with valid First Aide/CPR certificate
Good to have.
It will an assets if driver have a previous experience in working/volunteering with senior citizens.
Patience and take pleasure in socializing with seniors.
Skills and Abilities.
- Shuttle bus driver must have capability to communicate efficiently in oral and written.
