  4. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations.
  5. Operate lighter, special purpose trucks with precision and expertise.
  6. Load and unload goods with diligence and efficiency.
  7. Drive straight or articulated trucks proficiently to transport goods and materials.
  8. Oversee vehicle condition, conducting inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  9. Facilitate payment transactions for goods and receive payments accurately.
  10. Perform brake adjustments meticulously to ensure optimal performance.
  11. Execute emergency roadside repairs promptly and effectively when required.
  12. Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle aspects diligently.
  13. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to uphold vehicle performance and longevity.
  14. Receive and relay information to central dispatch promptly and accurately.
  15. Record cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption meticulously.
  16. Ensure proper tarping and maintain safety and security of cargo throughout transportation.
