Responsibilities

Your Daily Tasks

  1. Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
  2. Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  3. Drive lighter, special-purpose trucks.
  4. Load and unload goods.
  5. Obtain special permits and other documents required for transporting cargo on international routes.
  6. Perform brake adjustments.
  7. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
  8. Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  9. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  10. Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  11. Transport and handle dangerous goods.
  12. Manage and respond to customer complaints or inquiries promptly.
  13. Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for efficient transportation operations.
  14. Adhere to safety regulations and protocols during all phases of transportation.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trips, expenses, and vehicle maintenance.
